and Municipal Elections
The Surry School District
and Municipal elections will be held concurrently on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 beginning
at 2:00 PM and closing at 7:00 PM.

School District
Offices
Filing Period- January 25 to February 3
The following positions will be on the School District ballot:
Board of Education (3 yrs.) for
1 position
Any petitioned warrant articles must be submitted to the Board of Education up to and including
Monday, February
13, in order to be placed on the ballot.
Declaration of Candidacy forms can be obtained in any of the following methods:

Surry Town Hall during the regular business hours of the
Town Clerk (Mondays from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, and Thursdays from
5:00PM to 7:00PM). |

The completed forms can be filed with the Clerk at the Surry Town
Hall, or by email (must be a canned copy
that includes the signature) or postal
service to the Surry School District
Clerk at the respective address above.

Filing Period- January 20 to 29
The following positions will be on the Municipal ballot:
Moderator (2 yrs.)
Board of Selectmen (3 yrs.)
Supervisor of Checklist (6 yrs.)
Fire Engineer (3 yrs)
Budget Committee (3 yrs)
Fire Engineer (3 years)
Town Planning Board (3 yrs)
Trustee of Trust Funds (3 yrs)
Recreation Department - (3 yrs.)
Town Auditor (1 yr)
Any petitioned warrant articles
are to be submitted to the Selectmen at the town hall by Monday, February 13,
2010.
