Community Volunteerism
Community volunteerism is key for people who not only desire successful lifework, but hunger to reap the rewards of living purposefully.
Working professionals can gain leadership skills, including planning, project management, and motivational abilities.
Retired resident volunteers will benefit the community, the organization, and the volunteer. Through service, you can add to the quality and health of your life. Research indicates that volunteers enjoy better health, make new friendships, stay active and involved in the community, and learn new skills.

If you are interested in volunteer work you might consider running for an elective office.
The filing period for elective offices is during a 10 day period at the end of January.
Details on how to file will be posted here later this year.
